Sylvia Nickels writes the stories her characters tell her.
For an aspiring writer the Internet is a treasure trove of helpful tips and information on writing, editing and marketing his or her work. There are some biggies. Writers Digest, of course, the graddaddy of all writing magazines and websites, and their seeming endless array of books and helpful articles. The Writer, magazine and website, also has many articles to help and encourage new and seasoned writers. I've gathered some others with which I'm familiar. Some are instructive in the actual writing, others offer editing advice and services, and others suggest how to market the finished product. And some, such as Preditors and Editors help writers avoid some of the pitfalls of unscrupulous people in the business. If you find a broken link, please click on my name for the email link.
